MixaKids First ever Animation and Writing Camp in Kampala

During the long holiday, MixaKids held its first ever Writing and Animation camp. The camp ran from January 9th to 13th this year. It lasted one week with each day being action-packed with fun learning activities. The camp mainly focused on teaching children how to write a good story, illustrate (draw pictures and cartoons) as well as an introduction to Animation and to Robotics. We also had lots of outdoor games like soccer, musical chairs, dodge ball, running etc., brain games like chess and Aerobics. Over fifty children from twenty schools around Kampala took part in the camp that left them asking for another one soon! At the end of the camp, each participant was awarded with a certificate of participation and special prizes for outstanding campers.
